Volunteer with PYT
Volunteers are an indispensable resource to Pennsylvania Youth Theatre. Parents and community members support the company's productions as stage managers and assistants, costume, set, and prop builders, as backstage crew and as front-of-house ushers. Throughout the year volunteers help with mailings, publicity, fundraising and hospitality. Frequently, former students return to serve as teachers' assistants.
PYT's productions are the result of hundreds of hours of effort on the part of cast, crew and volunteers. By joining us in this effort, you can help deliver plays to thousands, many of them school children. You can set an example to everyone in the cast, especially our PYT students, by showing them the value of group effort and the positive reward of contributing time. Your hours of help and support are greatly appreciated and are essential to our goal of serving our community with the best possible literature-based theatre for children while offering our talented students the opportunity to perform.
